"I used to feel guilty every time I left to run. Now I know that run is what makes me the dad and husband I want to be. That shift changed everything and it can for you too."
Before any plan, we talk about what your week actually looks like, kids schedules, work, sleep and stress. Your plan is built around you, not the other way around.
Short, consistent sessions over long, unsustainable ones. Progressive, not punishing. Three runs a week beats one heroic one. We build habits, not just fitness.
Weekly check-ins, plan adjustments when life shifts, and honest accountability. When the week falls apart, we adapt. This isn't a rigid program, it's coaching.

I'm Ryan, a husband, a dad, and an ultra marathon runner. For a long time I wrestled with something a lot of parents know well: the feeling that going for a run means letting someone else down. Every time I laced up, there was this quiet guilt about leaving my daughter behind.
What I've learnt, the hard way, through a lot of early mornings and honest conversations, is that making time to run isn't selfish. It's what makes me better at everything else. A better dad. A more present husband. A calmer, clearer version of myself.
Running has given me something I didn't expect: the ability to be alone with my thoughts and actually work through them. Miles of trails have helped me find my purpose, process the hard stuff, and come home ready to show up fully for the people I love most.
I'm a certified running coach, and I work with parents who want to find that same thing, whatever it looks like for them. Chasing ultras? Let's go. Just wanting to run three times a week without burning out? That's just as worthy a goal. There's no minimum. No maximum. Just balance, structure, and the understanding that your running matters.
With loads of kms in the legs across trails and roads, running has also pushed me harder than I thought was possible, and I want to help you find that same feeling.
Whether you're ready to sign up, still figuring out where to start, or just have a question about running, reach out. There's no minimum entry point here.
